Scott Nicastro

Scott NicastroScott Nicastro hails from New Jersey, where he started drumming at age 10 studying with renowned drummer, Carl Wolfe. Scott was in both the orchestra and marching band in Jr. High and High School. Starting his first band at age 13 with Karl Del Piano, Pharoah. He would go on to play with local bands that played the Jersey and New York club circuit. Scott has recorded with The Vamps, Ambition, Phantasm, Arctic Dreams and John Taglieri. He has worked with Sony producer, Roger Propert in Ambition, Robbie " Seahag" Mangano in Arctic Dreams, Guitar virtuoso, Neil Rambaldi in The John Taglieri Band and Ed Palermo in Northstar. While playing with singer/songwriters Russ Bonagura of Northstar a club/wedding band, and John Taglieri, an all original touring band. Scott was playing with Shades Of Blue and Scooters Blues Revue, doing local bars in northern New Jersey. Scott's influences include, John Bonham, Bill Bruford, Jeff Porcaro, Carter Beauford, Ian Paice, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl just too name a few. His musical family includes his uncle Tommy, who was a sax player and president of the New York New Jersey musicians Union, Brother Tracy who plays guitar and bass, Father who fronted and played sax in his own Be Bop band and Grandfather who published and recorded some of his original compositions.
